ToDoListâ„¢

ToDoList is the leading personal list and task management application for Windows Mobile-based Pocket PC devices.  Using the .Net Compact Framework 2.0, ToDoList allows users to manage tasks into multiple lists and organize their lives.  SPAINB Development developed ToDoList and markets it.

ContactMeâ„¢ Telephony Software

SPAINB Development developed a .Net-based integrated PC-based PBX with voice mail and auto attendant capabilities driving Intel Dialogic telephony hardware.  The software uses a client-server architecture which supports the easy addition of new telephony applications to the server.  Multiple telephony applications can run concurrently with each other and "hand-off" calls between applications.  This telephony architecture makes application maintenance easier and increases system reliability and robustness.

ContactMe supports hosted voice applications using an architecture that allows multiple organizations to economically share telephony hardware.  Individual users can create sophisticated "Follow-Me" profiles to instruct the system to contact them at different phone numbers based on time-of-day, day-of-week, or special holiday schedules.  Voice messages are delivered to users as audio attachments to emails.

A script editor allows support personnel to easily create new call routing scripts with multiple menu structures.  Audio prompt creation and editing was also managed completely by SPAINB Development.

SPAINB Development also developed the Windows-based administration application to configure and control the telephony software, as well as multiple maintenance utilities which insure maximum system uptime and optimum performance.

Several enhanced call center applications have been deployed on this system, with web-based user interfaces developed for end user maintenance of their agents and call routing schedules.

Single Input Multiple Search (SIMS)

SIMS software runs in the laptop computers of Law Enforcement personnel, enabling searches of multiple state and national crime databases based on vehicle license plate numbers or drivers license identification numbers.

SIMS client software resides in an officer's laptop, and communciates with a server application which is responsible for handling search requests from multiple clients submitted via wireless networks.

The server application formats each search for the appropriate state database, submits the search and later routes the search results back to the correct client using secure protocols.

Automated client update capabilities ensure that the laptops are always running the latest version of the client software. This reduces the cost associated with dispatching support personnel to reinstall new versions across all registered users on a frequent basis.

QuickCAD

QuickCAD software is used by Emergency 911 centers to respond to emergency requests from callers and manage resources assigned to incidents.  Multiple 911 dispatch clients communicate with each other via a centralized messaging server to coordinate the status of open issues or to research and document previous issues.

Integration with Automated Number Identification (ANI) and Automated Location Identification (ALI) systems allows dispatchers to quickly dispatch police, fire, and EMS units to callers based on Caller ID information cross referenced against address information stored in a database.  The software is also able to alert units to previous incidents at a given location, or assist the lookup of national crime records based on vehicle license tag or driver license identification information obtained in traffic stops.

SPAINB Development also developed on-line help and written end user documentation for dispatchers responsible for using QuickCAD.

Sports Stats Analysis

A series of custom software projects enabled a leading supplier of statistical analysis to national entertainment and sports web services to package data in a format readily usable by its customers. Raw game data is automatically downloaded from existing websites and inserted into proprietary Excel spreadsheet models, processed and organized using Microsoft Office automation tools into various output formats for posting on internet sites. The output of the process is detailed statistics-driven analysis of sporting events and player performances.

Additional components implement algorithms to determine real time win probability for each team in a sporting event, with the data displayed on television broadcasts.

Pocket PC Automated Configuration Script Processor

SPAINB Development built a series of utilities utilized by the IT services organization supporting the rollout of over 1,000 Pocket PC devices to the sales force of a major pharmeceutical company.

The script-based utility enables automated configuration of user interface settings on each device, such as which applications are associated with hardware buttons, how long the backlight should stay lit, configuring the device owner information, running other installation programs and initiating soft reboots.

An additional application created by SPAINB Development allows users to modify the timezone of their device, after the clock application was disabled to prevent fradulent time stamping of reports and sales entries.
